L/Cpl Ben Parkinson
They said he would never walk again... but doctors reckoned without the courage of Para Lance Bombardier Ben Parkinson who lost both legs in Afghanistan and was once dubbed the most seriously injured serviceman ever to survive the battlefield. His injuries were so appalling doctors said he would never walk or talk again.
"Its great and I'm proud to be first Forces Patron of the Pilgrimbandits Charity, I'm getting new legs v soon and loads of phisio to make me walk and id love to do a challenge when i can and I'm a Para ,we don't do physical boundaries." said Ben
